Housing Services

Our Housing Services help men, women, and families experiencing homelessness in the Greater Williamsburg area.  With a focus on permanent housing, we hope to help the struggling in our community once again experience the contentment and dignity provided by living in a home of one’s own.

Program participants are assisted with the financial aspects of moving-in, as well as case management services to assist them in regaining and maintaining stability.

The Housing Services staff maintains a small furniture bank to assist newly-housed, formerly homeless clients with setting up their new home.  Each new household is provided with a set of housewares to get them started.  If you are interested in donating housewares or very gently used furniture to our housing program, please see our registry at Target, or contact our Housing Office Coordinator, Mary Oles, at moles@bedeva.org for more information.
