Give Local 757 is fast approaching! We are excited to participate in the 5th Annual Give Local 757, Hampton Roads Giving Day to benefit local nonprofits.
This year, our goals are to engage 500 donors and raise $5000 on May 8th, particularly between the hours of noon and 1pm. With your support we plan to expand our rehousing initiatives for the homeless. Here are three ways you can help make this happen:
- Donate (starting as small as $10) to Williamsburg House of Mercy at https://www.givelocal757.org/williamsburghouseofmercy during the hours of noon and 1pm on May 8th. This helps us compete for the $5,000 grand prize of most unique donations and the noon hour bonus prize of $757.
- Share – Tell everyone (friends, family, colleagues, church, etc.) you know on social media with posts and IM, by email, text, phone call or in person. We will be sharing videos and pictures throughout the day.
- Fundraise – Creating your own personal campaign to raise money for Williamsburg House of Mercy. As an individual fundraiser, you set the goal, you get the word out, and you become a champion for your cause. It’s so easy, visit: https://www.givelocal757.org/fundraise to learn how.
Your donation of any amount will help:
- $10- helps us reach our unique donor goal
- $200- provides 1000 meals for the Harbor, homeless day shelter
- $750- feeds almost 1000 people for one month (both Mobile Food Pantries)
- $1000- moves a homeless family into a home
