Opened in September 2015, in collaboration with the Greater Williamsburg Outreach Mission, as a low barrier shelter, the Harbor Day Shelter is the only day shelter in Greater Williamsburg offering respite to those experiencing homelessness.

Harbor is open weekdays from 10am – 1pm. The Harbor operates indoors during inclement weather and extreme temperatures and otherwise outdoors under the pavilion.

Guests visiting the Harbor have access to a hot shower, breakfast and lunch and are encouraged to attend monthly basic health screenings, job fairs, resume building workshops, job interview skill building workshops, and health fairs.

Effective April 2025, WHOM is no longer an access point to those in need of emergency or permanent supportive housing.
