Saturday, March 20th, there was a motel fire that caused more than 70 long-term residents to be displaced. Our community has come together to provide for immediate needs, as well as the needs that have arisen in the following weeks. Our case managers will be working with the City of Williamsburg Human Services for as long as it is necessary to make sure that the 38 households impacted are able to get food and begin the rapid rehousing process. Funds raised with this designation will be going towards replacing belongings, permanent housing, and other long term needs to help the displaced residents regain stability.

Thank you to Eastside Church, Empowered Christian Believers, Saint Bede Catholic Church, William and Mary Catholic Campus Ministries, Waters Edge Church, and Carabbas for providing meals.
