The Boy Scouts from Troop 300 of King of Glory are preparing the new location of the Grace Haven Family Shelter, a program of Williamsburg House of Mercy, for its opening. The Troop 300 Boy Scouts have been building picnic tables and a swing-set and preparing the lawn at Williamsburg House of Mercy’s new location of the Grace Haven Family Shelter. Local businesses, like Just Plumbing, have donated their time and the Williamsburg Regional Library provided a Wi-Fi hotspot as the space is prepared to welcome mothers and children who find themselves facing homelessness. While at Grace Haven Family Shelter, mothers have a safe place to continue their education, find stable employment and build a more stable and independent future for themselves and their children.
