Virginia Beer Company donates refreshments to the staff of the Williamsburg House of Mercy as they continue to feed Williamsburg Families.

The Williamsburg House of Mercy Monday-Friday drive-thru food pantry is from 10am-2pm. Food, diapers, feminine hygiene items, and toiletries are being distributed. Homeless services have changed in process, but still continue. Williamsburg House of Mercy is working to reunify homeless individuals with support networks, providing emergency shelter and working to get individuals rapidly rehoused. Harbor Day Shelter for the Homeless meals are now delivery. The noon-1pm Community Kitchen meal is now carryout.

Dedicated staff and countless volunteers are working tirelessly to make sure that community food donations are sanitized, repackaged and distributed to families, elderly neighbors, and other individuals who have found themselves vulnerable with the recent changes in employment and school closings due to COVID-19.

We have served more than 6000 individuals in the past 30 days. Each day our numbers are growing as families lose stable employment and are further impacted by this outbreak. Some days we are seeing 20 times more families than normal and are relying solely on the community to help us meet this increased need.  We have distributed nearly three times our normal Community Kitchen meals via carryout.

Please help us keep food on the line by donating items at 10 Harrison Avenue and/or supporting our ability to purchase food from the food bank with financial support by check or via our website WilliamsburgHouseOfMercy.org.

Donations can be dropped off Monday-Friday 9am-4pm (volunteering and drop-offs are still permitted under the stay-at-home executive order).
