Williamsburg House of Mercy gratefully welcomed the Walsingham Academy senior class of 2019 for a day of service as they prepared to reopen their renovated space. The Walsingham students spent the day unpacking food and baby clothing, building food pantry shelves, sorting donated items, packaging open house materials, and planting the kitchen garden for the community soup kitchen. Students rotated through these service projects and also spent time in immersion experiences where they were able to experience interviews with Mercy Housing and Financial Assistance and Outreach coordinators.
