Easter Baskets for Williamsburg House of Mercy's distribution

Thanks to the generosity of community members and parishioners of Saint Bede Catholic Church, more than 250 children will receive Easter Baskets on Sunday. Local teens from Walsingham Academy and the Saint Bede Youth Group sorted the donated candy and assembled the baskets, which will be distributed through Williamsburg House of Mercy.

This is one of many seasonal collections hosted by Williamsburg House of Mercy through their outreach and Healthy Families programs to make sure that families are able to create meaningful family traditions and provide for their children throughout the year. Other collections include: Thanksgiving Turkey and Dinner Drive, Christmas Angel Trees (for children and seniors), Winter Coat Drive, and the Summer Reading Drive.
