All months, especially summer months, are shelter and move-in months!

Shelter: As temperatures climb and the summer storm season begins, our year-round shelter model becomes even more essential to those living outdoors. This is the first step toward choosing housing—and a hopeful future!

Housing: Housing is a fundamental human right and a proven stabilizing factor in one’s life. As we begin seeing Ukrainian refugees and continue to move local families, couples, and individuals out of homelessness, your donations are the major source of support for move-in costs and supplies.

Emergency Services: With high fuel prices, we see more families forced to choose between buying gas to get to work or putting food on the table. Food, diapers, utilities support, and other services directly prevent families from experiencing homelessness.

If you want to be part of our stabilizing efforts, please participate in our GiveLocal757 day by donating and sharing our social media posts!

  • Join our mission!  All of our programs, including food, emergency shelter, and housing, can be supported on our website giving page or our GiveLocal757 webpage on Tuesday, May 10th. If you want your donation to go toward our GiveLocal757 goals, please note that on the memo line of any checks.
  • We also have Target and Amazon wishlists for household items, food, hygiene items, and move-in kits! Our move-in kits inventory is extremely low after moving several individuals into their homes.
  • Share the need. When our community hears of a need, they answer with compassionate care for our neighbors. Visit our website and follow our social media and help us spread the word about how #WilliamsburgCares
