As we reflect on an incredible 2019 and begin 2020, we know that the needs of our community can only be met through people like yourselves who see the individual and choose service. We are so grateful for the diverse group of volunteers and mission partners who make it possible to serve thousands of our neighbors in need. From food drives and service days with local businesses, to bill pay and grant partners, we are blessed to be able to see a need, speak the need, and lead our community in providing a solution.

In a particular way, this year has been a beautiful example of how being mercy transcends all generations of Williamsburg. We have been blown away by the number of grandparents who bring their grandchildren to pack Thanksgiving dinners. We are proud to see retired volunteers teaching students the ropes at our Monthly Mobile Food Pantry. We are thrilled when PTAs and college students lead their campuses in raising funds, collecting food and hygiene items, and participating in making the future better for our neighbors. The families we serve see that our House is different– because of you.

As we look forward to expanding our housing services, providing more healthy, fresh food, and assisting individuals and families in creating a more stable tomorrow, we hope that you continue to choose to “Be Mercy” in 2020.
