Your donations and volunteer hours truly make our ministry possible! It is through the generous donations of our community that we are able to open our doors to the poor and needy each day, and we are so thankful for your support.

Harbor Day Shelter Needs Your Help!

Bucktrout Funeral Home generously donates coffee supplies to welcome visitors to the Harbor Homeless Day Shelter.

With temperatures rising and summer thunderstorms creeping up, our Harbor Homeless Day Shelter is the place to find rest, get out of the weather, and begin work on a wellness plan that leads to permanent housing.

Over the past month, 13 area faith groups provided 416 volunteer hours: King of Glory, Williamsburg Presbyterian and Williamsburg Community Chapel had the highest number of volunteer hours.

While this may seem like a lot, there is still a great need for volunteers to assist with serving food, conducting intake, and visiting with guests. Volunteers can sign up for as few or as many days as they wish.

In June alone there were a total of 208 visits to the Harbor, with 40 unique guests. This brings our total number of unique guests served to 339 of our neighbors in need.
